  •   tbsp Oil for frying
  •   Large onion, finely chopped
  •   tbsp Santa Maria Jalapenos Green, finely chopped
  •   kg Santa Maria Pinto Beans, drained and rinsed
  • g Santa Maria Kentucky Bourbon Style BBQ Sauce
  •   tbsp Black pepper, ground

    Step 1

    Drain and rinse the canned Santa Maria Pinto beans well before use

    In a large pot, fry the chopped onion until softened, then add the chopped Santa Maria Jalapenos green

    Add the drained and rinsed beans, Santa Maria Kentucky Bourbon Style BBQ Sauce, and black pepper to the pot. Stir well to combine.

    Add enough water to the pot to create the desired consistency for the sauce. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, uncovered, for 30-45 minutes or until the flavours have melded together. Stir occasionally and add more water if needed.
