The Master Chefs of Great Britain
The Master Chefs of Great Britain, a not for profit association, was formed in 1980 to promote the art of fine gastronomy and culinary skills through training and education in the workplace, colleges and schools. The association provides a forum for the exchange of culinary ideas, organizes educational trips and seeks to promote all that is best about British cuisine and produce. Membership is open to professional chefs who can be said to be leaders in their chosen field including hotels, restaurants, pastry, cost sector catering, outside and event catering, education or research and development. The association runs and supports competitions and conferences throughout the UK.
