Mac Daddy Smash Burger

Mac & cheese is the perfect comfort food; in this recipe we have combined it with Beef Barbacoa and Bourbon BBQ sauce to make this a decadent and satisfying Mac & Cheeseburger perfect for that feel good food. It utilizes Santa Marias Cheddar cheese sauce, however the Santa Maria Cheddar Cheese sauce is so versatile it can be used as an ingredient or for a topping or dipping.

Increase Portion Size

  •   Seeded brioche bun
  •   Beef burger smashed
  • g Santa Maria Steakhouse Rub
  • g Beef barbacoa
  • g Mac & Cheese
  • g Santa Maria Bourbon BBQ Sauce

    Step 1

    In advance make the beef barbacoa and mac & cheese.

    Smash the cooked burger and season with Santa Maria Steakhouse Rub

    Toast bun, and build as follows – burger, mac & cheese, beef barbacoa and top with Santa Maria Bourbon BBQ sauce.
