  • g Country Range North Atlantic Prawns
  • ml Country Range Real Mayonnaise
  • ml Creme Fraiche
  •   2 Red Onions
  •   1 tbsp Dried Dill
  •   1 Lemon
  •   Salt and Pepper
  •   15 Slices Rye Bread
  •   15 Large Romaine Lettuce Leaves
  •   15 tbsp White Fish Roe (optional)
  •   Fresh Dill

    Step 1

    Defrost prawns (if frozen), disregard and squeeze out excess water.

    Roughly cut the prawns

    Cut the red onion into small pieces

    Mix prawns, mayonnaise, crème fraiche, dried dill, red onion, lemon juice,(&optional white fish roe) until all mixed together.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste

    The Skagen mix tastes best if resting overnight in the fridge.

    Place rye bread slice on a plate

    Cover with a large lettuce leaf

    Top the leaf with the Skagen mix

    Garnish with a sprig of fresh dill and a wedge of lemon
