Step 1
Defrost the mashed potato pellets and place into a large bowl

Add the chopped sliced gammon, spring onion, grated cheddar, readymade bechamel, smoked paprika and salt

Form into small cylinders and then freeze for 30 mins to firm up

Once they are easy to handle – panne through flower, then egg and finally breadcrumbs.

Deep fry for 3-4 mins at 170c until hot or bake in the oven at 180c for 12-15 mins

Serve with a suitable chutney or cranberry sauce
