Heat a little oil in a large pan and fry the onion. Next add the diced pork and sausages and fry until browned. Add the carrots and fry for a few minutes.

Add the cannellini beans, tomatoes, celery, stock, tomato puree and all the herbs and spices.

Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes or until the meat and vegetables are cooked and tender.

Transfer the mixture into a gratin dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Drizzle with oil and grill for 2 minutes or until the top is crisp and golden. Serve with salad.
