Yorkshire Tea and the Star Inn The City restaurant in York have teamed up to launch an exciting Yorkshire Tea-themed festive pop-up, which will be open to all over the Christmas period.

The acclaimed restaurant’s popular riverside terrace is being transformed into a winter wonderland to be known as the Yorkshire Teapee, complete with cosy décor and a bar serving a host of drinks. On the menu will be tasty tea cocktails, warming mulled wine and, of course, proper brews and Taylors of Harrogate coffee.

It is now open to all for a limited time only until the first week of January.

Laura Hartley, Trade Marketing Manager for Taylors of Harrogate, said: “What better way to celebrate the festive season properly than with a winter warmer in our very first Yorkshire Teapee? We are delighted to be working with one of York’s favourite restaurants to bring this new addition to the city. It’s the perfect place for a festive drink with friends or for a break from Christmas shopping – catch it while you can!”

Matthew Hunter, Director of Operations at the Star Inn The City restaurant, added: “It’s been fantastic to work together with the Taylors of Harrogate Out of Home team to create this fun-filled Teapee on our terrace. After a difficult few weeks following our recent fire, I’m extremely grateful to be back open and the launch of the Yorkshire Teapee is a great way to celebrate. We hope that you can all make it.”
