HRH The Duchess of Cornwall marks Meals on Wheels Week 2020 with a virtual visit to The Bevy community pub and Meals on Wheels service in Moulsecoomb, Brighton

As part of the National Association of Care Catering’s (NACC) Meals on Wheels Week 2020, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall made a special virtual visit today to The Bevy community pub in Moulsecoomb, Brighton and The Bevy Meals on Wheels service.

The royal virtual visit was organised by the NACC and hosted online by its national chair, Sue Cawthray, who spoke to The Duchess about the importance of Meals on Wheels services and introduced the inspiring work of The Bevy, which features in the NACC’s special collection of Meals on Wheels case studies as an essential community initiative that has had a positive impact on many lives, particularly during the pandemic.
