  • ml Country Range Vegetable Oil
  • g Country Range Plain Flour
  • ml Water
  •   tsp Nigella seeds
  •   tsp Country Range Cumin Seeds
  •   tsp Salt
  • g Country Range Mixed Cheese and Onion filling

    Pre heat fryer at 180C

    Mix flour, spices and salt into a bowl

    Add the oil and 100ml water to make a firm dough. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 mins until smooth and elastic

    Cover and leave at room temperature for 30 mins

    Divide the pastry into 12 pieces

    Roll each piece into a ball and roll out into a circle of about 15cm on a lightly oiled surface

    Cut the disk into two equal halves

    Brush each edge with a little water and form a cone around your fingers, making sure you seal the edge. Fill with 1 tbsp cheese and onion mix and press the two open dampened edges together to seal the top of the cone

    Fry for 180 for 3 mins each side

    Drain off excess oil and sprinkle with salt

    Serve with mango chutney
