Ingredients

  •   chicken cut into saute pieces whole chicken cut into saute pieces
  • ml vegeteble oil
  •   small diced onion small diced onion
  •   small diced carrot small diced carrot
  •   stick of diced celery stick of diced celery
  •   sliced small leek sliced small leek
  • ml red wine
  • ml Chicken stock
  •   tbsp Country Range Mixed Herbs
  •   Country Range Bay Leaves
  • g Country Range Green Pesto
  • g suet mix

    Step 1

    Pre heat the oven to 170c / 150c fan

    Prepare the suit mix into dumplings as per pack instructions and keep to one side

    Brown the chicken pieces in hot oil and remove from the large pan

    Add the diced veg and continue fry

    Add the chicken back in to the pan and season with a little salt and pepper

    Add the red wine, mixed herbs, bay leaf, chicken stock and simmer for 45 mins in the oven

    Add the small dumplings and continue to cook for 15 mins

    Once the stock has reduced add the pesto sauce and serve

  • 100 g suet mix
