Stir it up 2015 Readers’ Survey – You are our experts

>> The pages of Stir it up are constantly filled with a plethora of people in all areas of foodservice offering help, advice and inspiration on how to run your catering business more effectively.

But when it comes to how WE’RE doing in our job of producing the UK’s leading magazine for independent caterers, we go to the real experts – YOU!

Every year, we conduct a reader survey to gauge your views on the magazine and promotions supplement and, having collated the results of this year’s poll, we’re pleased to hear we’re doing a pretty good job!

It’s so important that we keep in touch with you, our readers, and that we continue to provide the news and features that you want to see. It’s always fascinating to look at the stats relating to our readership and to find out more about you.

We’re also glad to hear that you don’t hog your copy of Stir it up as 80% of readers told us they share their copy of SIU with on average four other people. Overall you gave us an average score of eight out of 10 for the magazine overall, which we’re pretty happy with – but we’d love to get it to 10!

You told us the biggest issues facing caterers are cost, competition, budgets, wastage, staffing, special diets/allergens, value versus quality and offering something different, so we’ll strive to ensure we’ve got that covered over the next 12 months.

In the meantime, if you have any news, views or suggestions of topics you’d like us to cover please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can email editor@stiritupupmagazine.co.uk or contact us via twitter @StiritupMag.

A big thank you to everyone who completed and returned their survey to us – and congratulations to Matthew Howard of My Sweet Retreat, Southport, who scooped £250 of High Street vouchers in our prize draw.
