Registration is now open for LACA School Chef of the Year 2018, sponsored by Maggi from Nestlè Professional. The competition focuses on producing healthy, nutritious meals for 11 year olds, and is the perfect showcase for passionate school chefs to demonstrate what they do best everyday.
The first stage is to register your school to take part in the competition – the deadline for registrations is September 29 and full details are available online at laca.co.uk/scoty-2018-registration-form.
The winner will scoop £1,000 plus a work experience trip to an overseas school and a host of activities representing LACA and Maggi as School Chef of the Year. There are also two runner up prizes of £500 for second place and £300 for third place at the national final.
